Description
Our best-selling, original natural shampoo bar is made with 100% natural ingredients and free from plastic, chemicals and palm oil. Coconut and olive oils combine to cleanse the hair of any product build up or residue, whilst avocado oil stimulated the blood flow, encouraging hair growth.
Always use a free-draining soap dish to allow your natural soap to dry out in between uses.

Olea europea (Pumice olive oil), Aqua (Water), Cocus Nucifera (coconut oil), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower oil), Cera alba (beeswax), Persea gratissima (avocado oil). *Citrus dulcis (Orange essential oil), *Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary essential oil).
Potential allergens naturally occurring within the essential oils.
Limonene, Linalool, Citral.
Free from SLS, SLR and palm oil.

Our vegan shampoo bars are handmade in small batches here at The Dartmoor Soap Company HQ on Dartmoor, Devon. Due to the nature of the handmade process bars may vary slightly in shape. Each bar’s minimum weight, however, is identical and clearly labelled in line with EU guidelines for cosmetic products. All our packaging is recyclable and wherever possible we try to use locally sourced and sustainably harvested ingredients.

I’ve looked for a shampoo that didn’t dry my hair and scalp out for many years without any luck. My hair used to be so brittle and would have hair fall which stressed me out massively. Honestly this shampoo bar (luscious locks) has totally changed my hair, it feels amazing, it has not been dry since using it and my scalp hasn’t felt like this in 10 years. Hair fall has stopped which has made me very happy. I will only ever buy this from now on. There was a slight transition period but for a week or two but I stuck it out, so happy I did!! The other plus is I only need to wash it with shampoo like once every 5 days which has never been the case before.

I absolutely love this shampoo. When I first bought it, I was sceptical that my hair wouldn’t feel unclean and horrible. However, it creates lovely suds and my hair feels so much better than it did. How you can create a shampoo without sulphate that has so many beautiful suds. Even Lush has added sulphate to their products. They could learn a thing or 2 from the Dartmoor Soap Company. Well done to you for only using natural, identifiable ingredients. I feel much purer when I wash my hair now.

I didn’t know what to expect using a bar of soap instead of liquid shampoo, but the lather was plentiful and it was really easy to work into my hair. My hair had a slightly odd feel to it when I rinsed, but I didn’t use any conditioner and my hair has dried soft yet with plenty of body and shine. So glad to have made the change from plastic shampoo bottles and looking forward to the long term results. Much easier to take on holiday too, when we’re finally allowed to go somewhere.

I have tried other shampoo bars from different sources and always felt my hair was stripped ( clean but harshly clean)
This shampoo bar was a revelation – really clean hair that doesn’t need washing every day as it used to. In fact it can happily be washed twice a week now. Looks shiny and smells great and only one bar not two as it doesn’t need conditioner either. Great on time, energy and eco friendly! Oh and supporting local shopping! Thank you and I have now ordered the monthly boxes as I love the soap too!

Really REALLY love this! Through my second bar already. So glad I made the switch (before I did, I read through the ‘how to switch to a shampoo bar’ on this website, that was really handy.) Great things about it: lasts forever (for me personally-like months), and I have long hair and wash it every other day, which is totally different from the mounds of plastic shampoo bottles I went through in the same amount of time – so it’s also very eco friendly. **TIP** cut off what you need from the bar instead of using it as a whole bar, makes it easier to use to wash your hair and lasts so much longer. Definitely get it, you won’t regret it (I’m a poet and I didn’t know it) :))
