Since the success of our shampoo bar range we have been asked many times when we were going to create complimentary hair conditioners. Well, after much research and many tweaks we have finally created three new conditioning products which we are, quite frankly, rather chuffed about!
One of the reasons it has taken so long is because many conditioning products contain surreptitious ingredients which are derivatives of palm oil and if you have been a friend of the DSC for some time you’ll know that that is not at all what we’re about.
Our three new hair conditioners are presented in pretty glass jars (refillable options coming soon!) and compliment our existing shampoo bars perfectly.
Using them is simple and you have 2 options.
Either apply a medium amount to the ends of the hair and leave for a few hours of overnight for an extended treatment or use a smaller amount after using our shampoo bars, leave for a few mins and rinse out, just as you would a traditional hair conditioner. The natural oils are not greasy so there’s no need to worry about feeling uncomfortable overnight or staining bedlinen but if in doubt simply cover your pillow with a hand towel.
We actually trialled a soft launch of these natural hair conditioners two weeks ago and the feedback has already been wonderful:
Fab product! I wanted something as natural and basic as possible for my 1yo daughter’s hair. She has a parent with Afro hair and a parent with wavy Caucasian hair. Her curly coils are soft, tight ringlets with lots of shrinkage. This shampoo and conditioner leave her hair super soft and her coils lovely and defined. And her hair looks fuller. I love it!
